How to delete your Sproutsly account and what happens to your data when you do.

You have the right to delete your Sproutsly account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to do so and what happens to your information.

How to Delete Your Account

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by:

  • Using any in-app or in-product account deletion feature (where available), or
  • Contacting us at support@sproutsly.com with your account deletion request

When requesting deletion via email, please include your account email address or username to help us locate your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the deletion request.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize the following information:

  • Your account profile and personal information
  • All your listings and associated content
  • Your messages and communications with other users
  • Your saved preferences and settings
  • Your search history and activity data

Note: Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Sproutsly again in the future.

Data Retention

Subject to our legal obligations and legitimate business needs, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe after your deletion request.

We may retain certain information for longer periods if required by law, including:

  • Legal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Tax and financial record-keeping obligations
  • Dispute resolution and enforcement of our agreements
  • Protection of our rights and the rights of other users

Any retained information will be anonymized where possible and used only for the purposes stated above. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription or promotional purchase when you delete your account:

  • Your subscription will be canceled immediately
  • You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription
  • You will lose access to subscription features immediately
