Items that may not be listed, sold, or purchased on Sproutsly to ensure legal compliance and user safety.
Users may not list, sell, or purchase the following items on Sproutsly. This list is not exhaustive, and Sproutsly reserves the right to remove any listing that violates applicable laws, regulations, or our Community Guidelines.
The sale or purchase of illegal drugs, controlled substances, prescription medications without a valid prescription, or any substances regulated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) or similar agencies is strictly prohibited.
Alcohol may not be listed unless the seller holds all required federal, state, and local licenses and permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages. Sproutsly does not verify licenses, and sellers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives designed as weapons, and other weapons are prohibited. This includes but is not limited to guns, tasers, pepper spray (when intended for use as a weapon), and any items designed to cause harm.
Toxic, flammable, corrosive, or otherwise hazardous chemicals and materials are prohibited. This includes pesticides, herbicides, and other agricultural chemicals that require special handling, licensing, or disposal.
Counterfeit, replica, or knockoff items that infringe on intellectual property rights are prohibited. This includes unauthorized copies of branded products, fake certifications, or items that misrepresent their origin or authenticity.
Products that have been recalled by manufacturers or government agencies may not be listed. Sellers are responsible for checking recall databases and ensuring their products are safe and legal to sell.
Stolen goods, items obtained through fraud, or property that the seller does not have legal right to sell are strictly prohibited. Listing stolen items may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.
Certain plants, seeds, produce, or agricultural products may require permits, licenses, or certifications under federal, state, or local law. Sellers must obtain all required permits before listing such items. Sproutsly does not verify permits, and sellers are solely responsible for compliance.

Sproutsly may remove prohibited listings at any time without notice. Violations may result in account suspension or termination. In cases involving illegal activity, Sproutsly may report violations to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
