Seller Agreement

Additional terms and responsibilities specific to sellers on the Sproutsly platform.

Effective Date: 2/27/2026

This Seller Agreement supplements our Terms of Service and applies specifically to users who list items for sale on Sproutsly. By creating a listing, you agree to these additional terms.

Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Sproutsly, you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of all listing information
  • The quality, safety, and legality of all products you list
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Obtaining and maintaining all required permits, licenses, and certifications
  • Completing transactions in good faith with buyers

Listing Accuracy

All listings must accurately represent the items being sold. You must:

  • Provide truthful descriptions of condition, quality, and quantity
  • Use current, accurate photos that represent the actual items
  • Disclose any defects, damage, or limitations
  • Set fair and accurate prices
  • Update or remove listings when items are no longer available

Misleading or false listings may result in removal of your listing and suspension or termination of your account.

Legal Compliance

You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations when listing and selling items on Sproutsly. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Consumer protection laws
  • Food safety regulations (if selling food products)
  • Agricultural and plant import/export restrictions
  • Tax obligations related to sales
  • Environmental and waste disposal regulations

Sproutsly does not provide legal advice. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws applicable to your listings and sales.

Food Safety

Important: Sproutsly does not verify food safety, and sellers are solely responsible for the safety of any food products they list.

If you list food products, you must:

  • Follow safe food handling, storage, and preparation practices
  • Comply with local health department regulations
  • Obtain required permits or licenses for commercial food sales (where applicable)
  • Properly label products with ingredients, allergens, and expiration dates
  • Disclose any potential allergens or health risks

Disclaimer: Sproutsly is not responsible for food safety, quality, or any illness or injury resulting from food products purchased through the platform. Buyers purchase food products at their own risk.

Permits & Licenses

Certain products may require permits, licenses, or certifications under federal, state, or local law. You are responsible for:

  • Determining what permits or licenses are required for your products
  • Obtaining all required permits and licenses before listing
  • Maintaining valid permits and licenses throughout the listing period
  • Providing proof of permits or licenses to buyers upon request

Sproutsly does not verify permits or licenses. Listing items without required permits or licenses may result in removal of your listing and account suspension.

Product Labeling

You must properly label products with all required information, including:

  • Product name and description
  • Ingredients (for food products)
  • Allergen information (where applicable)
  • Expiration or best-by dates (where applicable)
  • Origin or source information (where required by law)

Transaction Completion

Once a buyer expresses interest and you agree to a sale, you are expected to:

  • Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Honor agreed-upon prices and terms
  • Complete transactions in good faith
  • Provide items that match your listing description

Sproutsly does not process payments or mediate disputes. All payment arrangements and transaction details are between you and the buyer. See our Terms of Service for more information about offline transactions.
